 EN3800 vibration monitoring system

There are 4 compressors in Organic Synthetic Plant of Jilin Chemical Industry Ltd. The original device adopted the 7200 series vibration-monitoring meter made in Bently USA. For upgrading the compressor the EN3800 online vibration monitoring and protection system was chosen to substitute the original meter in May 1999. The new system was put into operation in June 1999. The demands to vibration monitoring system of compressor unit areEach unit of steam turbine, air compressor and tail gas turbine choose two measuring points of shaft displacement, 4 measuring points of shaft vibration and 1 measuring point of rotating speed.

The EN3800 vibration monitoring system in Jilin Chemical Industry Ltd is composed of the eddy current sensor and monitoring system. The monitoring system adopts EN3800 intelligent online vibration monitoring and protection system made in ENVADA Beijing. There are three types: 8 channels, 12 channels and 16 channels. Each compressor of Organic Synthetic Plant of Jilin Chemical Industry Ltd has 11 measuring points1# bush shaft vibration in X axis and Y axis, 2# bush shaft vibration in X axis and Y axis, 3# bush shaft vibration in X axis and Y axis, 4# bush shaft vibration in X axis and Y axis, shaft displacements of compressor and turbine, rotating speed. The distribution of measuring point is shown in the figure. The EN3800 system has been providing the monitoring and protection function foe the compressor since the system put into operation.
