EN880C Series Paperless Recorder(EN880 Enhanced)

    The EN880C color paperless recorders made in Beijing ENVADA Limited is an upgrading product of EN880 series color paperless recorders. It adopts an advanced 32 digits microprocessor, which includes basic type and special type. The size of a screen has two specifications: 5.7″ (namely small screen, 320×240 dot matrix) and 10.4″ (namely big screen, 640×480 dot matrix), the input channels has over 9 specifications from 4-32。
    On the basis of original functions of a basic type meter and to meet the user’s requirements, one or several special functions, such as the current transducer output of 4-20mA, the PID regulation (given value control, switching control and process control included), the rotating speed measurement, the frequency measurement, are added to form a special type meter.

Note:The channel can be divided into two types: input channel (receiving the actual input signal so called analog channel or physical channel) and calculation channel (so called virtual channel). The small screen may have input channels of 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 at most; The big screen, of 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24 and 32 at most. The sum of the input channel and the calculation channel can reach 48 whether or no the screen size.

Functional Characteristics

    An EN880C series meter has many display modes including the bar chart display, the digit display, the curve display, the circle diagram display, the flow chart display, the flow display, the alarming list display, the recall display, the mixed display, the configuration display, etc. The channel number of most display modes can be set and composed by user so the display contents would greatly meet the requirements of users.

 

 

    The setting function of an EN880C series meter is powerful and plentiful and convenient for use. The setting adopts a menu mode. There is an on-line hint so the user does not need through a specialized training. After the user carries out a setting operation, the contents of the setting operation will be kept forever and cannot be lost even power-off in a long time.

 

    

   An EN880C series meter has the powerful and flexible mathematical calculation function. The complicated calculation formula can be directly input. According to different formula, the calculation needed, for example, the linear compensation, the fixed compensation, the square root, the mean value, the addition, the subtraction, the multiplication, the ratio, etc, can be carried on in a channel itself or among individual channels. The meter can synchronously display and record the relative parameters, such as the volume, density, mass and enthalpy relative to the flow or the given value of PID, the measurement value and the transducer output, and carry out various approximate calculations.

  

    An EN880C series meter has two communication modes. The most common one is an LAN mode constructed by multiple EN880C series meters and a PC through RS232/RS485, and another is a remote communication mode carried out by the network of conductors through a network card. It has three communication interfaces: RS232, RS485 and Ethernet. The ENVADA can provide the standard communication software, which can operate in a PC, for the user. The data from the communication can be displayed and stored in a PC, and can be analyzed by the data management software. The meter supports the standard Modbus and TCP/IP communication protocol. But the communication software of EN880C series meter can be revised according to the user’s communication protocol so as to connect with the LAN that the user is using.

  

    The data management software operating under the WINDOWS 2000/XP is available for free for the user. The software can be used to process the data transmitted from an EN880C series meter to a U disk and the data from communication, for example, carrying out the operation of display, of analysis, of data guided in/guided out, of data cumulative metering and listing, of alarming event statistics and listing, of report list, of graph print, etc.
