EN6000B4 Series Intelligent(Standby) Instrument

    The EN6000B4 series instrument is an intelligent (standby) operated instrument, which has an I/O signal system transfer function that not only controls a servo device directly but can also be used as a standby instrument to trigger a downstream control system. It has analogue and servo control output modes, and a function to regulate and control valves.

Function Characteristics

  Providing a remote Manual/Auto control operating function and a remote Increase/Decrease control operating function that the above operation functions are prior to the operations of an operated instrument itself so making the control more convenient and more flexible.

  Valve position feedback checking: Providing a valve position feedback calibrating function in a working place so making the control accuracy higher, and a valve position opening degree alarming function and a retransmission function.

  Complete counter size: Providing a variety of contour sizes. Every type has different contour sizes so convenient for option.

  Communication function: A RS485 communication interface is available (as an option) to form a computer monitoring system based on multiple instruments and a PC that has the bus characteristics defined by the ENVADA communication protocol (supported by many host computer configuration software) or MODBUS protocol allowing the functional operation of a instrument to be carried out on a host computer seemlessly. The user can choose a communication rate among 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200bps. The standard communication software operated in a PC is available.

  Advanced parameter protection function: A parameter protection function can be set to avoid any illegal operation.

The EN6000B4 series operated instrument can be divided into two types: current output type and positive-negative rotational control type. They can be subdivided by function into the following 4 types:

Current output manual operated instrument

Output a current of 0-10mA/4-20mA/0-20mA as a valve given signal through the key operation, and driving an electro-dynamic regulating valve through a servo amplifier or an air-operated thin-film valve through an electric-air translator and a valve positioner so suited to control a variety of valves manually.

current output manual & standby operated instrument

Receiving a current/voltage valve position given control signal from a DCS system or a variety of intelligent instruments. Following the valve given signal of 0-10mA/4-20mA/0-20mA automatically, and driving an electro-dynamic regulating valve through a servo amplifier or an air-operated thin-film valve through an electric-air translator and a valve positioner. The transfer between Manual and Auto is non- interference.

Outputting a positive-negative rotating control signal directly through the key operation to drive a variety of electro-dynamic regulating valves, and displaying the actual valve position feedback so suited to control a variety of electro-dynamic regulating valves manually.
