The EN4000B process recorder range made by Beijing ENVADA Limited is a new generation process recorders. The range has been developed using in-house expertise and experience, manufacturing knowledge and competitive experience cumulated in many years to meet the actual requirements of individual industrial places and to overcome many shortcomings (for example, the maintenance workload is heavy, the operation cost is high, etc) of a traditional mechanical recorder.

Because many advanced techniques including the computer technique, the microelectronics technique, the data storage technique, the color LCD display technique, the communication technique, etc are used, it has many new functions including the plentiful display function, the flexible setting function, the powerful statistics analysis function, the network communication function, etc, and these functions are no comparison with the function of a traditional meter. It has high cost performance so it has been widely applied to the power industry, petrochemical industry, metallurgy industry, light industry, pharmaceutical industry, etc.

Multiple flexible display modes

EN4000B series paperless recorders adpots an 5.6'' colorful LCD, the input channel has 4 types: 1, 2, 3 and 4. Every channel can provide a power supply of 24VDC for a two-wire system current transducer and an independent relay contact outputs.

An EN4000B process recorder has 6 basic display modes: bar chart display, graph and bar chart vertical display, graph and bar chart horizontal display, digital display, the polar display and recall display. The channel number can be set for most display modes and in such a way that the display contents will exactly meet the requirements of users.

Simple and fast operating modes

An EN4000B process recorder has 6 keys. All functions of an EN4000B process recorder can be carried out using these keys. In the normal working state (not a setup state), pressing a key once can switch the display to the required display page mode. Such an operation is instantaneous and avoids the more complicated process of going through the setup mode.

In the set state, an EN4000B process recorder will provide an on-line hint and the help message for every step of an operation of the user. This enables the user to carry out the required operation quickly and accurately.

The data statistics function output includes data such as the maximum and minimum values and when they occurred, the mean value, the alarm times and the alarm cumulative times in a given period, can be interrogated.

An EN4000B process recorder has a USB interface and supports the USB flash disks with FAT/FAT16 file format. The data and statistics reports stored in the internal electronic disk of an EN4000B instrument can be transmitted to and stored in a USB flash disk. The data in a USB flash disk can then be stored on the hard disk of a PC or analyzed by the PC.

An EN4000B process recorder has a USB interface and supports the USB flash disks with FAT/FAT16 file format. The data in a USB flash disk can then be stored on the hard disk of a PC or analyzed by the PC.

To meet the user’s requirement and when some functions of an EN4000B process recorder ordered need to be revised or adapted, Beijing ENVADA Limited can provide upgrade software for the user through E-mail. The user can carry out the software upgrade in the operating environment using simple operations.

An EN4000B process recorder has two communication modes: RS485 and Ethernet. The most common is a LAN mode linking multiple EN4000B process recorders to a PC (through the RS485) but remote communication mode using Ethernet is also available. ENVADA can provide the standard communication software necessary to link with and analyse information from each EN4000B with a PC

The data management software operates under WINDOWS 2000/XP/Vista and is available to the user at no charge. The software can be used to process the data transmitted over a LAN or transferred from an EN4000B process recorder using a USB flash disk. The data can be displayed, of analysed, transferred, including cumulative and individual listing, alarm event statistics details and listing, report lists, of graphical outputs, etc.
